The British Dental Journal (BDJ) is the official academic journal of the British Dental Association, published for them by the Nature Publishing Group. It continues in series earlier publications, the Monthly Review of Dental Surgery (1872–80) and the Journal of the British Dental Association (1881–1903), and it absorbed first the Mouth Mirror and Dental Gazette (1950), then Dental magazine (1970).
